Speak out, call attention, and shift the narrative.
Examples:

  • Public speeches

  • Letters to the editor

  • Art, music, and poetry

  • Vigils and marches

  • Handmaid protests and symbolic dress

Withdraw your time, money, or presence.
Examples:

  • Boycotts of businesses or politicians

  • Social media silence or unfollowing en masse

  • Refusing to attend biased or exclusionary events

Hit them where it hurts—the wallet.
Examples:

  • Labor strikes

  • Bank account closures

  • Rent strikes

Deny legitimacy to oppressive policies or leaders.

Change the system directly through action.
